Background

Arthur J. Gallagher is the third-largest insurance broker in the world, with over 26,000 employees and a wide range of insurance brands which operate in diverse markets. Working with their London-based communications team, we have been involved in their internal communications since 2013.

The Challenge

Arthur J. Gallagher was keen to keep their employees around the world up to date with company news, updates, results and staff stories and wanted to deliver this in an engaging way, combining business updates with human interest stories.

Our Approach

We felt this was best achieved through a printed magazine-style publication. Working with their editor to bring information about AJG and their many insurance brands to life, we design and produce each publication. We also manage the printing and distribution of the magazine to over 60 locations around the world, ensuring that each issue arrives to set distribution deadlines. An online version is also produced and made available via AJG’s intranet.

The Results

As well as meeting business communication objectives, the magazine also provides some light-hearted engagement material, plus employee news and achievements by specific offices within the business. Produced quarterly, the magazine has become a well regarded and popular way to keep the company in touch.
